Q: What is your role at Audicus, and how did your career path lead you here?A: I joined Audicus September of 2024 as an Operations and Logistics Specialist. I work closely with our CTO Logan, Operations, Shipping, Logistics, and Engineering. In my role I do a bit of everything – helping with programming, inventory management, building the website, salesforce, and more.
Before Audicus I worked in real estate in New Jersey, and later moved to a logistics company in North Jersey. After some time I wanted to move over to a different company doing something bigger with more growth potential, and then I joined Audicus.
Q: How do you start your day?A: I am very lucky. Each of my roommates has a cat and a dog, so I start my day with fur baby cuddles. After that I make my coffee, and get ready for work. I really enjoy walking, so as I make my way to work I try to get off the subway early and walk the rest of the way.
Q: What advice would you give to someone interested in a career in Operations?A: Don’t be afraid to apply! Update your resume and go for it – see what happens. Before I joined the company I knew I wanted to be somewhere where my heart would be more into the mission and work I was doing. Don’t go for the first opportunity thrown your way – find what is meaningful to you. Q: What do you find most rewarding about working in at Audicus?A: Coworkers can make or break a job. The people I work with are the best part of being here - for me they make it!
Q: How would you describe the culture at Audicus?A: The culture’s warm and welcoming. There’s a good amount of being driven versus not over-exhausting yourself. I enjoy that we’re all pushing ourselves to learn more.Q: What are some of your favorite books, movies, or shows?A: My favorite movies are Little Miss Sunshine and Knives Out.What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?A: I’m lucky to have a solid group of friends here in New York that I enjoy spending time with. I love to travel around the city, and see Broadway shows and Ballet – my favorite so far has been Hadestown.I enjoy being creative in my ways - last year I got into collaging.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?A: Growing up I attended the same all girls school for 16 years!
