People often ask me a very important question - what style of hearing aid is best for me with the hearing loss I have?
Let’s talk about the different styles of hearing aids that Audicus offers and the benefits of each. Our hearing aids styles include Receiver-in-the-canal (RIC), Completely-in-the-Canal (CIC), and Behind the Ear (BTE). Styles are customized and can be programmed to your hearing loss.
Receiver in the Canal (RIC)
The microphone of this hearing aid is housed in a discreet hearing aid case. This is where the sound enters the hearing aid. The receiver, or speaker, goes into your ear canal. The two parts are attached by a thin electronic wire.
Our RIC hearing aids include the Omni and Spirit.
